cinco, OC Fair!

ok ok ok so I said I would post some more pictures from my San Francisco trip & I will... tomorrow.
I went to the O.C. Fair last nite. I had a really fun time. However, I was very annoyed when we got there. The reason for my annoyance was that that yesterday if you brought a new school supply to donate you could get into the fair for free. Me & my boyfriend had our school supplies & I was so mad whenI found out we were late, the donation drive for the school supplies had ended. So we had to pay 10 dollars each, 20 bucks! I was annoyed. I hate that feeling when you know you could have had something for free, but instead you paid big time for it. Ugh anyway, We still had a great time & of course we had to try something fried. We went with the fried oreos (there were twinkies, smores, frog legs, & butter!), the oreos were suprisingly tasty! We played a few of their rigged games, & checked out the photography exhibits. We didn't get on any rides though, just the thought of portable rollercoasters freaks me out! Also, I don't think I could handle the rides, take a look!

four, San Francisco Day 1

I've been a bad bad blogger, especially bad for a new blogger.
I do have good reason though, I was in San Francisco!
Soo soo much fun! It was just me & my momma!
We started off with Chinatown (totally blows L.A.'s Chinatown out of the water)
We ate at House of Nanking, the best chinese food I have ever had. I highly recommend it.
I had the Tower of Scallops & Fried Rice. I could eat it ever day & be happy.


There we so many unique trinkets, like these sushi bobbleheads, too cute!

I saw a fortune cookie factory too, so tiny, but really cool to see.

Then we were off to Ghirardelli's Square!

I fell in love with this store.

It had all my favorite things, cards, stationery, photo albums, 

cute erasers (sushi), hello kitty, cupcake goods. 

I wanted to buy just about everything but I settled for a fortune cookie fortune journal.

I used to tape them to my walls, but when I painted my room I took them down.

We walked  to the Warf, it was so cold!

3, Wonderful Saturday

I had a terrific saturday. I slept in, relaxed, enjoyed my breakfast. The weather was still cool after breakfast, so I decided to go on a run/walk. It was nice to get out & I even saw a friend driving.





After the run I got ready for my day & freedom writers was on! It is such a wonderful inspiring story. I got ready then went to the angel game with my parents, my boyfriend, and my boyfriend's parents. We had such a good time, I even got an Angels cap! Despite our good time the Angels lost (2-1) :( And to top it off my & my boyfriend missed the Angel's homerun, all because we wanted to get a hotdog.

2, Craft lost, Craft found

ok so I started out today thinking I would paint this fame post it & that would be my cute craft friday post, yeah let me show you in pictures how badly that turned out, despite the fact that it really started looking good.

this is where is diaster began. despite the traditional blue painters tape, the teal paint leaked into the pink, so the stripes were ruined, & the cute flower stickers would not come off without peeling the paint. it looked awlful!
I got so mad I tried to scrub all the paint off, this is what I ended up with, yikes!



Not all is lost though, I am going to stand it to get that teal paint off, and this time it will be beautiful!

I did end up with a craft though, I made a pillow!
I know what you are thinking "this chick can't paint a picture frame, she sewed a pillow?!"
But I did I truly did!
I was at my boyfriends, me & his mom got bored & took a trip to Joann's, I told her about these cute pillows, & she thought we should try it. we got the stuff we needed, fabric and pom-pom trim. she had little pillows so we just covered those. We used a sewing machine of course, but I did have to stitch one side by hand! I think it looks super cute, I'm already planning on making some more! I love how the pillow added some softness to this teal folding chair, too cute!

Hola, this is my new blog, obvio... anyway I'll be posting things that are cute &; to me that includes scrapbooking, cupcakes, my amateur photography, little bits about fashion, jewelry, food, typical girly stuff! :D
